| I witnessed something truly AMAZING today.
I'm guessing no one reads this blog anymore... (and I don't blame you)... but I have something special I wanted to share.
Today... I witness something incredible... something that brings me to tears just thinking about it.
I saw a woman... who... throughout her pregnancy, didn't want to be bogged down with a baby and was already making plans for caretakers and nannys. Her baby was prematurely born and has been in the neonatal intensive care unit.
After 10 days, the woman was able to hold her baby for the first time. All of a sudden, she was a Mom. Without a second thought, she took the baby from the nurse and cradled her in her arms. She whispered to her little girl and she knew exactly what to do.
And next to her was the proud father... taking pictures until his memory card ran out... recording every moment. Even as I stood there, behind the double paned window... he beamed, waving at me everytime he caught my glance.
This made my day. After all that's been said done... the hustle and bustle of the city, the insane LA traffic, the cutthroat economy and all the negativity in the world... this little 3 pound, 4 ounces little baby girl showed me the true meaning of love, life and happiness.
Thank you little one.

HIGH FIVE!

Yes... I'm a very proud pug-mama.
Oh yeah... I'm going out of order on my training goals. I'm basing my training on Artie's capabilities and enjoyment rather than my own goals. |
